I don't normally post much of this sort of work here, but I was really tickled with the copic work that came out here. (Yes, I know her legs look a bit odd, but Priss has really BIG thighs and she's got digigrade legs on paper that was too small to stretch them out.. anyway. Ignore that.)

Priss is a fairly typical member of her race, although she's got larger thighs than most. Her race has outlandishly colored hair, pink, blue, purple, red all not *that* uncommon. Like all members of her race, Priss is a true hermaphrodite, which if you are staring at her pants going 'is that..', let me save you the trouble, yes it is.

Anyway.. yeah.. I was playing with copics and I liked this and thought I'd share.

For some reason, the shading and stature, remind me of Ratchet. Either way, interesting shading and some interesting information. =)

Not to be a "prude", Myst, but wouldn't the proper pronouns in this case be "shi" and "hir"? ;)

If they're all Herms, then how would they reproduce??

looks amazing, though can't help but think "very strange kitty boy/girl." what kind of hemaphorditic(sp?) society are they? are there male and female hermaphrodites, or are thy strait hermaphrodites? and what i mean by that is that i've read of races that are hermaphrodites, but some identified as male, and some identified as female, even though they were all basicly male and female.

There is no "Proper" pronunciation for this kind of stuff...and remember, by the technical definition, she is capable of impregnating others, and giving birth herself.

Several science fiction writers have been using the pronouns "Hir" (for his/hers/its), S/he (he/she pronounced sha-hee) or a variant "shi" (she/he/it) for some time. It was "mainstreamed" by authors such as Peter David in the Star Trek: New Frontier" series in reference to the Hermat species, and I am sure it has been used by many other sci-fi authors (specifically "shi"). Wikipedia only references Usenet, and that makes their entry somewhat suspect.
